Following successful graduation events in Launceston and Hobart last week, Foundry will now enter a venture design phase for the business.
Since 2017, Foundry has provided creative education offerings to over 400 aspiring creatives across 7 awards and 5 specialist creative fields.
Having worked in partnership with Swinburne University of Technology, the University of Tasmania, TasTafe and Foundry Academy, the Foundry team plans to assess key learnings from delivering in the higher education, vocational and non-accredited education spaces, before taking the next step in the business’s development.
Foundry is incredibly proud of the offering they have provided over the past 5 years in a market that was under recognised and under serviced. With a focus on student experience, industry integration and real-world creative briefs, Foundry has proved that regional areas can successfully foster and empower creative communities via education.
The Foundry venture design process is planned to run over an 18 month period, and the Foundry Team expects to have updates on future plans in late 2023.
