FOUNDRY GRADUATION – CLASS OF 2020/21

Foundry celebrated the Graduating Class of 2020/21 across events in Hobart and Launceston this week.

Creatives were recognised for completion of their Associate Degree in Applied Design, awarded by UTAS, along with Specialised Diplomas across graphic design, film & photography, user experience, content writing and interior design, awarded by Swinburne University of Technology.

Foundry would like to thank these creatives for their hard work and commitment over the last 2 years, along with that of their tutors, Foundry staff, and the industry guest speakers that supported them along this journey.

This graduation event recognised a combined cohort of creatives due to the impact COVID had on our ability to host in-person graduation events in 2020. A special mention is required for everyone involved in the transition to online learning experienced by this cohort in April 2020. The understanding and resilience showed in the face of very difficult circumstances will certainly set these creatives up well for anything thrown at them in their professional lives moving forward.

A number of awards were presented on the night across the categories of academic achievement, industry and tutor feedback, and attendee choice. A special congratulations to all those who took home awards.
